Trespass sent 13 artists throughout the UK a ski helmet to custom design.
These helmets are being auctioned off for charity starting January 31st 2016, you can view the auction on the button below.
Our next helmet artist lives and works in Bristol and has created pieces for companies such as Facebook as well as being exhibited in the Houses of Parliament and further afield. Gemma Compton took up art at a young age and has always paired her art with a passion for nature. Gemma incorporates portraiture, wildlife, flowers and skeletal images often together to build up her intricate designs.
With a background in fashion illustration, Gemma’s work ranges from massive outdoor murals and portraits to instillation pieces and three dimensional art. Her work has been used by several fashion labels and her designs have been incorporated into all sorts of apparel, so we thought it was fitting for her to take on one of our helmets.
Gemma’s style has won her a large following of devoted fans and we were thrilled to have her involved in the project. Gemma’s ski helmet shows off her love of detailed patterns, symbolism and nature imagery all brought together in another fantastic design.
You can check out the rest of the selected artists and helmets here.
100% of all proceeds from this auction will go to Migrant Offshore Aid Station.
