Mark Davies is a mixed media artist who originally studied fine art before co-founding a graphic design agency. Mark continues to work on his own art, creating series of digital pieces to tell stories through detailed composition with a heavy focus on colour, light and texture. Mark uses various techniques in each piece, including digital work that allows incredibly detailed scenes that are often eerily realistic.
Mark is a professional artist, published by Wishbone Publishing and exhibits work in over 70 galleries in the UK and abroad. Mark uses his work to tell stories and aims to weave a narrative through each image and collected series of works. Much of his art combines natural imagery paired with contemporary life as he seeks to create art that is both visually appealing but has deeper themes emerging on closer investigation.
Mark’s goal to tell stories and broach important subject matter has been reflected in the design for his helmet. The helmet’s dried leaves design represents the brain with darkened patches highlighting areas affected by Alzheimer’s, a cause close to Mark.

100% of all proceeds from this auction will go to Alzheimer's Research UK.
