Doug ShadwellMy Brasher boots will need replacing in a while and I've been keeping an eye open for replacements. I chanced on these in Eastbourne supposedly reduced from £85 to £30, and at that price I was prepared to take a chance on a brand I know nothing about. The RRP is probably not very accurate,
as I've since seen them advertised at £91 and £100. The
fit is good and the boots are comfortable. The external size is larger than my Brashers and they look a bit clumpy. The ankle cuff is high and rubs on the left boot, but this will wear in. They've been used on two walks on the South Downs without problems, but time will tell how good they are. I could probably do without the faux fur on the inside. But, as I say, for £30 you can't really lose much.
