EmmaI do a lot of walking with my dogs, up to 5 miles a day. I developed Plantar Fasciitis and thought it was a good idea to buy something to help support me when I walk (rather than wearing wellies all the time!)
These boots have been great. They are really supportive and comfortable and true to size. I have never had a blister with them.
Unfortunately they started to leak after apx six months and then the sole came away from the upper of the shoe.
I'm not sure if this is due the amount of time I wear them or due to poor workmanship. I am going to buy another though as they are comfy and will keep the receipt this time! If there are any signs of wear I will be contacting Trespass.
LouiseBought these shoes in the sale for an upcoming trip to the New Forest. Also bought "anti blister socks" which are very thick so went a size up. During our trip, we were hit by a freak thunderstorm and the boots held up great. Feet were dry and the mud just brushed off when dry. Really pleased, only negative is I wouldn't have spent the full price on these as rather expensive but really happy.
MaggieI bought these boots for weekend walks in our local woods. After less than 25 outings the sole has split away from the upper on one boot and is starting to do the same on the other. I tried to return them but the only reaction from the staff in the shop was that they were outside the six month warranty period and all they could do was to sell me a better pair! poor value and terrible customer service.
SarahI spent the best part of a day trying on walking boots. Most were uncomfortable or too small for my wide size 7 feet. As soon as I tried these I knew they were for me. Comfortable and light I had no problems with them on my first 18km hike. My feet stayed dry too. Went up to a size 8 as no half sizes but they weren't too big at all. Highly recommended if your budget can't stretch to the more expensive end of the market.
