EmmaThis is my 3rd pair of these brilliant trousers. Warm, wind proof and pretty good in a rainstorm. The slightly fleecy lining is soft and warm, and the outer doesn't make that annoying rustling noise of so many outdoor waterproof trousers. I wild camp in the Scottish hills in all weathers and have found with good thermals they can even withstand a fairly rough snowboarding session.
Good fit for a 5ft, 45kg woman in the XXSs. With simple but nicely deep pockets, and good zips. The popper opening can be a little prone to popping open with bending but not significantly annoying. The adjustable built belt system is ace, and non-bulky. If you feel the cold, like easy movement and a simple no fuss trouser these are for you. I will likely buy several pairs more to do me until I retire!
Jean KendallI bought these trousers on a visit to Northumberland recently. They are a great fit and very comfortable apart from one label that is sewn into the left leg seam which seems to be plasticised and caused a great gouge in my leg as I was walking. I cut the label out but the remaining edging still caused an uncomfortable mark on my leg so I have had to sew some tape around it. Just hoping that does the trick. Surprised no-one else seems to have had this problem.
maryI recently bought a pair for walking in the wet weather, so comfortable and breathable, I bought the medium size as i am a 12 and they fit perfect. love the sale price. Only nag was I am only 5 ft 1 and so i will have to get length altered as apparently they only come in 1 length -
