The whole process of purchasing these snow boots has been a complete carry on.
Came into store at Aberdeen Trinity and bought these and came away with 2 left feet and 2 different sizes despite the colleague working there “checked” the boots. These things happen but it really was an utter inconvenience considering the weather in and around Aberdeen City and Shire. Coming back into the store to get them changed to realise they couldn’t help as didn’t have any in that size and had no idea where the other shoe in a size 12 was. I had to prompt them to check if their other store may have in which they then checked and said it hadn’t. I asked what’s my next steps ordering online? Then what … so I ordered and had to pay for them again at a more expensive price, then I also had to wait for that refund. Once shoes had been delivered to the store I collected and had to purchase them again and wait for my refund. It just really was an unpleasant and stressful experience. Not only this I also purchased other products and gifts for my daughter and father. A pair of gloves I purchased for my
Daughter did not fit. Size 5-7 years, couldn’t even fit her hand into the opening of the glove. With the packaging being a wooden arch type piece of cardboard I removed this so my daughter could access the glove opening fully. However these gloves as I said did not fit have they receipt, took them back and was told I cannot get a refund or even store credit as I do not have the cardboard that came with the gloves. Again appreciate your “policy” but it isn’t the law and the gloves were in perfect condition just no tags attached. If this is such an important factor - your colleagues should stress this upon purchase and this was not explained to
Me. Considering you have tools and guns to attached these back with plastic things it’s quite ridiculous that I have to have the piece of cardboard with the item that I wanted to return.
